Integrity Commissioner honoured in Queen’s Park Portrait Gallery - September 25, 2013

Integrity Commissioner Lynn Morrison was honoured today at the unveiling of a Queen’s Park portrait gallery featuring  women and their contributions to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Titled A Remarkable Assembly – Women at Queen’s Park, the display includes the portraits of women Members of Provincial Parliament, Lieutenant Governors and Officers of the Legislative Assembly. The permanent display is on the walls outside of the Speaker’s Office in the east wing of the Legislative Building at Queen’s Park.

“It is such an honour to be included in this accomplished group of trailblazers,” Commissioner Morrison said. “I hope that visitors to Queen’s Park might be inspired by the public  service  of the many women whose portraits are on display.”

Commissioner Morrison was appointed Integrity Commissioner in 2010. An Officer of the Legislative Assembly, the Integrity Commissioner is independent of government.
