Integrity Commissioner Files MPP Public Disclosure Statements

Public financial disclosure statements for Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament have been filed today with the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

The statements reflect each MPP’s holdings as of Sept. 1, 2017. As required by the Members’ Integrity Act, 1994, all members disclose their assets, liabilities and other information in a private statement filed with the Office of the Integrity Commissioner. The Commissioner is required to disclose publicly certain information from each MPP’s private disclosure statement.

All MPPs have met with Integrity Commissioner J. David Wake to review their holdings and discuss their obligations under the Act. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity to discuss conflict of interest issues, as well as review the rules around gifts.

The statements are available at www.oico.on.ca and can also be viewed in the Office of the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly.
